Altrady is our first recommendation for traders choosing a crypto signal provider, because it lets you build your own signals instead of only following someone else's. You can create signals from 100+ indicators in its TA Scanner, start from ready-made templates or import strategies other traders share, and let a DCA Bot or Signal Bot trade them with your own stop loss and take profit. Signal Bot can also follow Crypto Base Scanner and The Better Traders, and Altrady plans to open a signal marketplace. It is not free: you get a 5-day trial with no credit card, then a paid plan. Below we compare it with free options (TradingView, altFINS, 100eyes, Coinrule, The Better Traders), the signal marketplaces of Cryptohopper and 3Commas, and the paid signal service AltSignals.
Altrady publishes this comparison, so weigh our entry accordingly and check every price yourself. Research dates 20 and 21 October 2026, based on each provider's official website, pricing page and documentation. We did not run hands-on tests of the competing services, and we did not verify any provider's performance claims. Nothing here is financial advice.
Key Takeaways
- Altrady is our pick because you can build your own signals. Create them in the TA Scanner or import shared strategies, then automate them with a DCA Bot or Signal Bot under your own risk rules, on paper first. It costs money after a 5-day trial.
- "Free" usually means limited. Free plans cap something: 3 price alerts on TradingView, a 1-day delay on altFINS's signal feed, 4 coins on the 100eyes preview channel, $3k of monthly volume on Coinrule.
- Know which kind of signal you are getting. Indicator alerts tell you a condition happened; trade calls give an entry, a stop and targets; bot templates trade for you. Each needs a different level of supervision.
- Free signals often need a paid tool to act on. Marketplace signals on Cryptohopper and 3Commas, and The Better Traders' free templates, run inside a bot platform that has its own plans.
- Paid signal services rarely publish an audited record. AltSignals shows monthly results including losses, but they are self-reported; some providers show only screenshots and accuracy claims.
- No signal removes risk. Set your own stop loss and position size for every trade, and treat any promise of guaranteed or near-perfect results as a red flag.
What Crypto Signals Actually Are
A crypto signal is a prompt to act on a market: buy, sell, or watch a coin because a condition has been met. The word covers three different things, and beginners often mix them up. For what a complete signal contains and how to read one, see our guide to crypto trading signals.
Indicator and pattern alerts come from software that watches markets for conditions such as an RSI reading below 30, a breakout through resistance or a volume spike. They tell you something happened, not what to do about it. TradingView alerts, altFINS signals, 100eyes and Altrady's screener and scanners work this way.
Trade calls come from a person or a service and usually name a coin, a direction (long or short), an entry zone, a stop loss and one or more take-profit targets. Most Telegram signal groups sell or give away this kind of signal.
Bot signals are sent straight to a trading bot, which opens and manages the position for you. Signal marketplaces on Cryptohopper and 3Commas, The Better Traders' templates and Altrady's Signal Bot work this way.
How We Compared These Crypto Signal Providers
We checked every provider on 20 or 21 October 2026 using only its own website, pricing page and documentation. We did not sign up for or test the competing services, and we did not audit anyone's results. For each one we recorded:
- What the signals are: automated alerts, trade calls or bot signals, and who or what produces them.
- How they reach you: app, email, push notification, Telegram or a bot.
- What is free: the free plan or free channel and its published limits.
- What it costs after that: named plans and prices with the currency and billing basis the provider shows.
- Whether signals can trade automatically, and on which exchanges where stated.
- Performance claims: quoted as the provider states them, and marked as unverified.
Where a provider's page is silent, we write "not stated". Where its own pages contradict each other, we say so. There is no overall score, and every entry follows the same structure. Two services from the earlier version of this article are gone from the list: goodcryptoX's site says its hosted service has closed, and the old Crypto Quick Scanner site now redirects to Altrady's Quick Scanner.
The Best Crypto Signal Providers in 2026
1. Altrady: best for building and automating your own signals
Altrady is a trading platform rather than a signal channel, and that is why it leads this list. Most signal providers sell you their calls; Altrady lets you create signals from rules you understand, reuse strategies other traders share, pick ready-made signal sources, and decide how every position is entered, protected and closed. It connects to your exchange accounts through API keys and does not hold your funds.
Build your own signals in the TA Scanner. The TA Scanner combines conditions from 100+ indicators, such as RSI, MACD, EMA crossovers, Bollinger Bands and volume, with AND/OR logic, triggers on tick or on candle close, and runs across your exchanges and timeframes. It alerts you on screen, by sound or by push notification when a market matches.
Start from templates or import strategies. The TA Scanner includes 11 preset strategies across trend continuation, mean reversion, momentum and breakouts. Strategies can be exported as a JSON file or shared by link, and an imported strategy starts switched off so you can review its rules before turning it on.
Automate your signals with a DCA Bot. A DCA Bot can open a position when indicator conditions are met. If you already built a rule in the TA Scanner, you import it as the bot's entry condition, then set safety orders, take profit, stop loss and an optional exit condition. You can backtest the bot on recent data before running it.
Follow ready-made signals with Signal Bot. The Signal Bot trades signals from the Crypto Base Scanner, which detects base support levels, or from The Better Traders. Your settings decide the investment, DCA orders, take profit, stop loss and filters such as volume limits and cool-downs. Altrady plans to add a signal marketplace with more providers. To trade your own TradingView alerts, use the TradingView Bot.
Practise first. Bots can run on a paper trading account and be converted to live once you are comfortable, so you can see how a signal behaves without risking money.
Trading connections. 19+ exchanges, spot and futures, with all accounts in one workspace.
Main strengths. Your own signals, imported strategies and ready-made sources in one place; the same risk rules applied to every trade; backtesting and a paper account to learn on.
Material limitations. Altrady is not free after the trial. It does not sell analyst trade calls, so you choose your rules and settings. Signal Bot currently works with its listed providers, and the signal marketplace is not open yet. TA Scanner limits, bot slots and alert counts depend on the plan.
Free access. A 5-day free trial with no credit card required.
Plan and price. Basic €28/month, or €20/month billed yearly (2 active bots, 50 price alerts, TA Scanner with reduced limits, Quick Scanner and Base Scanner). Essential €50/month or €35/month yearly. Premium €90/month or €63/month yearly. Billing is in EUR. Checked on altrady.com/pricing on 21 October 2026.
Best suited for: traders who want signals they understand and control, from a first indicator rule on paper to automated bots across exchanges. Try Altrady.
2. TradingView: best free charts for setting your own alerts
TradingView does not sell a signal service. Its free Basic plan gives you charts, community-built indicators and a small number of alerts, which makes it a good place to learn what a signal is before you trust anyone else's.
What the signals are. Alerts you set yourself on price, plus thousands of community indicators and strategies whose quality varies. Alerts can arrive in the app, as a pop-up or by email; webhooks are for paid plans only.
Published free-plan limits. 3 active price alerts, no technical alerts on indicators or strategies, 2 indicators per chart, 1 chart per tab, and ads.
Markets. Crypto, stocks, forex and more; the screeners cover crypto and DEX markets.
Trading connections. Trading through selected brokers; automatic trading from alerts is not stated.
Plan and price. Essential €12.95/month, Plus €29.95/month, Premium €59.95/month and Ultimate €199.95/month, all billed annually. Checked on tradingview.com/pricing on 20 October 2026.
Material limitations. The free plan has no indicator alerts, so you have to watch the chart yourself. Community scripts are not vetted.
Best suited for: learning to read charts and setting a few price alerts on coins you already follow.
3. altFINS: best free automated signal summary
altFINS is a crypto analytics platform that turns technical conditions into ready-made signals: chart patterns, trend and momentum changes, support and resistance events. Its Signals Summary shows how many coins currently fit each bullish or bearish setup.
What the signals are. Automated: AI chart patterns, 130+ signal types and pre-set screener filters. Alerts arrive by push notification in the mobile app, by email or on the website.
Published free-plan limits. The Starter plan's signals feed has a 1-day delay. It includes 3 alert rules and 10 daily alerts, AI chart patterns for 2 coins, 3 trade setups, 3 results per screener filter, and ads.
Plan and price. During a "Flash Sale" on 20 October 2026, yearly billing showed Basic at $8/month, Essential at $16/month and Premium at $25/month (shown against $20, $40 and $60). Sale prices are temporary, so check altfins.com/pricing before you buy.
Performance claims. altFINS says you can "get up to 78% success rates with AI generated chart patterns". It gives no method or period, so treat it as unverified.
Material limitations. A 1-day delay makes the free feed a learning tool rather than something to trade on. altFINS's own knowledge base and pricing page disagree on some free-plan limits and prices.
Best suited for: beginners who want to see which technical setups are appearing across the market without building screens themselves.
4. 100eyes: best free Telegram alerts for major coins
100eyes is a scanner that posts alerts to Telegram. Its free preview channel, CryptoScanner100eyes, was active on 18 October 2026.
What the signals are. Automated scanner alerts such as RSI overbought or oversold, RSI divergences, price near a support zone and unusual volatility, mostly on 1-hour and 15-minute charts. They are alerts, not trade calls with entries and stops.
Published free limits. The channel description says the preview shows "free alerts for the top 4 coins". In practice that was BTC, ETH, XRP and LTC against USDT. The premium scanner "tracks 350+ coins" and offers a 24-hour free trial through its Telegram bot.
Plan and price. Not stated publicly.
Material limitations. Four coins only, no automatic trading, and posts carry exchange referral links.
Best suited for: getting a feel for indicator alerts on Bitcoin and the largest coins, inside Telegram.
5. Coinrule: best free plan for automating signals with rules
Coinrule is a rule-based trading bot platform. Its free signals page invites you to connect market alerts to automated rules that trade on your exchange.
What the signals are. Alerts from sources such as technical analysis, whale activity, sentiment and on-chain data, or your own alerts sent by webhook, that trigger rules you set up.
Published free-plan limits. The Starter plan is free with 2 running strategies, 1 connected exchange and up to $3k of monthly trading volume. TradingView signals are not included.
Plan and price. Investor $29.99/month, Trader $59.99/month and Pro $749/month on the pricing page, with yearly options. The homepage lists Pro at $449.99/month, so check before buying. TradingView signals come with Trader and Pro.
Markets. Exchanges including Binance, Coinbase, Kraken, OKX, Bybit, Bitget and KuCoin, plus some stock brokers.
Material limitations. Coinrule says it does not serve customers in the EU and EEA under MiCA. Its usage figures and testimonials are not independently verified.
Best suited for: traders outside the EU who want to automate a couple of simple rules for free.
6. The Better Traders: best free bot signal templates
The Better Traders offers TBT Signals as "free bot signal templates": long-only, spot-only DCA templates you copy into an Altrady or 3Commas bot. The Better Traders is integrated with Altrady's Signal Bot, so read this entry with that relationship in mind.
What the signals are. Bot signals covering 26 coins in USDT, USDC, USD and BTC markets, traded automatically by your bot.
Published free limits. The templates are free; their page says "bot platform and exchange costs may apply", and both Altrady and 3Commas are paid platforms.
Plan and price. A separate paid service, Better Crypto Signals, is listed at $25/month.
Performance claims. The Better Traders publishes monthly profit and loss reports and states that there is no guarantee of profit. Its paid service claims it beat the 2022 bear market without losses; no data is shown with that claim.
Material limitations. Long only and spot only, and you need a bot platform to use the templates.
Best suited for: beginners who want a simple, documented DCA bot setup to run on a paper account first.
7. Cryptohopper Signals Marketplace: best for browsing many signal providers
Cryptohopper's marketplace lists third-party signalers whose signals feed your Cryptohopper bot. Some listings are free, including "FREE SIGNALS by KIROV"; paid listings went up to $199.99.
What the signals are. Bot signals from independent providers, delivered to your hopper.
Published free limits. Free signalers are marked FREE. The marketplace says "Free to use – no credit card required", while the pricing page shows no free plan, only a 3-day trial, so it is unclear whether free signals work without a paid plan.
Plan and price. Explorer $29/month ($24.16/month yearly), Adventurer $69/month ($57.50 yearly) and Hero $129/month ($107.50 yearly), excluding VAT.
Material limitations. You need a bot and almost certainly a paid plan; signaler quality varies, and you check each signaler's own performance report. See our Cryptohopper review.
Best suited for: traders already using Cryptohopper who want to try different signal providers.
8. 3Commas Signal Marketplace: best for ranked bot signal providers
3Commas lets you choose a signal provider as the start condition for a bot. Some providers are free and others charge a monthly fee.
What the signals are. Bot signals from marketplace providers, labelled Stable or Risky by Sharpe ratio. 3Commas states that signals are "typically, but not always, highly accurate" and that no signal guarantees a profit.
Published free limits. Some providers are free. There is no free plan, only a trial and a demo account.
Plan and price. Starter $15/month, Pro $38/month and Expert $105/month (shown against $20, $50 and $140), with "3 months free" advertised on annual billing.
Material limitations. Filtering providers needs a paid plan; the trial length is not stated.
Best suited for: traders who already run 3Commas bots and want ranked providers to choose from.
9. AltSignals: best paid service with published monthly results
AltSignals sells trade calls on Telegram, describing itself as "Smarter Trading Signals, TradingView Algorithms & AI Tools". It is the paid signal service most often cited in search results, and one of the few that publishes results per month, including losing months.
What the signals are. Calls from human analysts, an AI channel called ActualizeAI, and the AltAlgo TradingView indicator, covering crypto spot, crypto futures and forex. The homepage says calls include an entry, targets and a stop loss.
Free access. A free Telegram channel and a free plan listed with copy trading access; limits are not stated.
Plan and price. Each plan (ActualizeAI, High Lev Futures, Low Lev Futures, AltSwing, AltAlgo Indicator, Forex, Spot) was listed at $55/month, shown against $70. Yearly prices were not shown.
Published results. Monthly summaries per channel, with per-trade reports. In August 2026 the Low Lev Futures channel showed a 53.49% win rate, while the ActualizeAI channel showed 38.98% and a negative total. The results are self-reported and not audited, the pages do not explain how the percentages are calculated, and the July 2026 Low Lev report lists 42 trades against 40 in its summary.
Material limitations. Futures plans use leverage of up to 50x (the FAQ mentions up to 100x). Refund terms differ between the homepage (24-hour guarantee on monthly plans) and the terms of service. The site carries exchange referral links and states it is not regulated by the FCA. It notes futures trading is not allowed in some countries, including the USA and Spain.
Best suited for: traders who specifically want analyst trade calls on Telegram and will check the published record and test on paper before paying. If you use their calls, you can still place and manage the trades in Altrady with your own stop loss and position size.
Signal Groups We Left Out
Search results and AI answers also recommend Telegram aggregators such as SignalPeak. We did not include it: its site claims "92% accuracy" and "100% historic accuracy" without any per-signal record, shows contradictory prices for the same plan, and its terms of service still contain an unfilled placeholder for the governing law. Those are the kinds of warning signs covered in the red flags section below.

How to Judge a Crypto Signal Provider
This is a proposed evaluation workflow, not a test we have run for you.
- Check that each signal is complete. A usable trade signal names the coin, the direction, an entry zone, a stop loss and at least one target, and ideally a reason. If the stop loss is missing, the risk is entirely yours to define.
- Ask for the full track record. Look for every signal, including losses, over months, not a few screenshots of winners. A track record you can't check is marketing.
- Understand what "win rate" measures. A high win rate with small targets and wide stops can still lose money overall. Compare average win and average loss, not just the percentage.
- Paper trade before using real money. Run the signals on a paper account for a few weeks and record the results yourself.
- Size every position for the loss. Decide in advance how much of your account you can lose on one trade, set the stop loss, and size the position to match. A risk/reward calculator helps.
- Start small and review. If you go live, start with a small amount and compare your live results with the provider's claims after a month.
Red Flags in Free Crypto Signal Groups
Free Telegram and Discord groups are the most common source of crypto signals and the most common source of scams. Walk away when you see:
- Guaranteed profits or claims of never losing a trade.
- Requests for your API keys with withdrawal rights, your seed phrase or deposits to a "manager". No legitimate signal service needs them.
- Pressure to upgrade to a "VIP" group with countdowns and screenshots of winning trades only.
- Calls on tiny, illiquid coins where the group's owners can buy first and sell to members, a pump-and-dump pattern.
- Signals without a stop loss, or targets that keep moving after the trade goes wrong.
- Referral links in every post, which can mean the group earns from your trading volume rather than your results.
Connecting a bot through exchange API keys is normal, but create keys with trading permission only and never enable withdrawals.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the best crypto signal provider?
It depends on what you want. For signals you build, understand and automate yourself, Altrady is our pick: create them in the TA Scanner or import shared strategies, then run them with a DCA Bot or Signal Bot under your own stop loss. For free alerts, TradingView, altFINS and 100eyes each cover a different need, and for paid trade calls, AltSignals publishes monthly results, though they are not audited.
Can I create my own crypto signals?
Yes. In Altrady's TA Scanner you combine conditions from 100+ indicators with AND/OR logic, or start from one of 11 templates, and get an alert when a market matches. You can import the same rule into a DCA Bot as its entry condition, so the bot trades your signal with your own take profit and stop loss.
Where can I get free crypto signals?
Free options include TradingView's free plan for your own price alerts, altFINS's free plan with a delayed signal feed, the 100eyes preview channel on Telegram, Coinrule's free Starter plan and The Better Traders' free bot templates. Each free option has limits, which we list in the comparison table above.
Are crypto signals worth it for beginners?
They can be useful for learning how setups form, but they do not remove risk, and following signals blindly is a common way to lose money. Paper trade any signal source first, set your own stop loss, and judge it on a full track record rather than screenshots.
Are free crypto signals safe?
Free signals themselves are just information, but free groups are often used for pump-and-dump schemes, referral earnings or upselling to paid groups. Never share a seed phrase, never give anyone API keys with withdrawal rights, and be wary of any group that guarantees profits.
Can AI give crypto signals?
Yes. Several platforms, including altFINS, use automated or AI-based pattern detection to generate signals. Automated signals are consistent, but they are still probabilistic, and any published success rate should come with a method and a time period before you rely on it.
What should a good crypto signal include?
A complete signal names the coin, whether to buy or sell, an entry price or zone, a stop loss and one or more take-profit targets. It should also say which timeframe it is based on. Without a stop loss, you have to decide the risk yourself.
Can I automate crypto signals?
Yes. Bot platforms such as Altrady's Signal Bot, Coinrule, Cryptohopper and 3Commas can trade signals automatically on your exchange account. In Altrady, your bot settings decide the entry, DCA orders, take profit, stop loss and filters for every signal.
Are Telegram crypto signals legit?
Some Telegram channels are genuine and some are scams, and from the outside they look alike. Check for a complete, long-running track record that includes losses, avoid groups that promise returns or push VIP upgrades, and test any channel on paper before using real money.
Are paid crypto signal providers worth it?
Not necessarily. Free tools are enough to learn with, and paid signals are not automatically better. What matters most is whether the signals are complete, whether the track record is verifiable, and whether you manage risk on every trade.
Is Altrady free?
Altrady offers a 5-day free trial with no credit card required. After that, plans start at €28 per month, or €20 per month billed yearly, as checked on 20 October 2026.
Try Altrady Signal Bot
Build signals in the TA Scanner, import strategies, and let a DCA Bot or Signal Bot trade them with your own stop loss. Start on a paper account.
No credit card required. Trading crypto involves risk; past performance does not guarantee future results.
